Menachem Sharron holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering & Management from the Technion in Haifa and has studied towards an MSc in Industrial Engineering & Management at the Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheva. Menachem has over 35 years of experience in the Information & Communication Technology environment which has given him a rich background in international sales, management skills and a deep understanding of a wide range of technologies related to telecomms, data communications and software development.
Asael Karfiol has over 20 years of experience in investment, consulting, marketing and operation management. Mr. Karfiol serves as a director of Top Image Systems Ltd. From 2001 until 2007, Mr. Karfiol served as general partner at Hyperion Israel Venture Partners, which was founded as a $73 million investment fund in year 2000 by principals of Hyperion Partners, a leading US firm, to provide start-up companies with financing and strategic guidance based on deep industry experience. Mr. Karfiol was a director in two of Hyperion Israel portfolio companies, Xloom Communications Inc. and Mplicity Ltd., and also served as an observer on the board of directors of cVidya Networks Inc. and Bamboo MediaCasting Inc. Between 1999 and 2001, Mr. Karfiol was a vice president at Ascend Technology Ventures, an Israeli based venture capital fund. Prior to that, between 1998 and 1999, he was vice president for Be'ery Capital Raising, a company specializing in private placements for high technology companies and prior to that, between 1995 and 1998 he was vice president for Integrated Technologies of Israel Ltd., an investment company held by US and Israeli investors, specialized in commercializing innovative technologies. Prior to that, between 1994 and 1995 he worked as general manager at the Israeli consulting firm of Ziv Consulting and Training Ltd. Between 1990 and 1994 Mr. Karfiol worked as Director of Marketing and Business Development at Keter Group, which is one of the world's leading manufacturer and exporter of plastic household and garden furniture and products. Mr. Karfiol received a B.Sc.E.E. Electronics Engineering, Magna Cum Laude from Tel Aviv University in 1985 and an MBA degree, Summa Cum Laude from Tel Aviv University/the University of Pennsylvania at 1990, specializing in marketing and finance. Mr. Karfiol was a guest lecturer at the Executive MBA program at Tel Aviv University School of Business between 1993 and 1996, lecturing and conducting workshops in International Marketing and Finance.
